It’s Day #3 of the Get Up Early Challenge… Today, I forgot to set my alarm clock last night (cheesy mistake, but true! I was SO tired when I went to bed!)… So when I woke up on my own at 6:12 am, I chose not to beat myself up or feel like I’d failed.
Instead, I celebrated the fact that 1) I woke up fairly early — without an alarm! 2) I probably needed to extra sleep. 3) I abbreviated my morning routine so that I’d be back on track by 8 am.
We aren’t going to do things perfectly, and when we make mistakes, it’s an opportunity for us to give grace, focus on the good, and make Plan B!
I’ll be hopping on Periscope at 7:45 a.m. to share some Morning Motivation encouragement and to some thoughts and insights from The 5AM Miracle book. I’d love for you to join me or watch the replay (just download the app and search for @MoneySavingMom).
Are you joining me for the Get Up Early Challenge? If so, leave a comment on this post to let me know how you did with your wake-up goal this morning.
We’re in this together… And if you didn’t hit your goal, that’s okay! Give yourself grace, don’t beat yourself up, and know that you can try again tomorrow!
