Do you have a nicer camera but you don’t feel comfortable shooting in anything but auto mode? I know the feeling.
I’ve wanted to try to learn how to shoot in manual mode, but even just the words like aperture, ISO, f-stop, and shutter speed seem complicated to me. So I’ve mostly stuck with automatic mode.
However, after reading 10 pages of The Spaghetti Shots ebook this morning while I was on the treadmill, I was totally inspired to break up with automatic mode and actually get brave and experiment with manual. In fact, I wanted to jump off the treadmill and bust out the camera right them! 🙂
Courtney writes in a way that is very easy to understand. She uses lots of photos to show you exactly what she means and how you can do it on your camera, too. And she manages to take a fairly technical subject (settings on your camera) and make it fun and interesting.
I can’t wait to read the rest of her ebook. But I didn’t want to wait to tell you about it because she just launched it today and she’s offering it for the discounted price of $2.99 through March 29, 2013.
By the way, if you have a chance, go check out Courtney’s blog. Her pictures and story of her daughter, Brenna, who was born with a rare genetic skin disorder are absolutely priceless.
