Crystal, we are moving too. In May we will be moving to Germany. As a type A person myself, I have been stressing so bad! It is overwhelming to think about! Do you have a moving checklist you would be willing to share to help with the organization? Thank you!
{Hugs!} That’s a BIG move… but you’ll do great, I know you will!
Here are a lot of different checklists: https://www.google.com/search?q=free+printable+moving+checklist&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&channel=sb
I especially love this one: http://www.iheartnaptime.net/moving-check-list/
What I’ve found to be helpful is to make a checklist of 8 weeks out, 6 weeks out, 4, 3, 2, 1 weeks out and then brain dump everything onto these lists that needs to be done. Then, just schedule the items — a few per day — on the weeks they are allotted. Moving is a lot of work, but organization always goes a long way in helping it be much smoother!
I hope that everything goes well for you!
Thank you SO much Crystal! 🙂
I’ve been reading your blog for years and putting so much of what you write into practice. I live near Chicago and will be at Hearts at Home and can’t wait to hear you speak and hopefully meet you. I also lead a small book club and we’ll be discussing your latest book in May :). Have safe travels…
Yay! I hope I get the chance to meet you!
spring break here, and a birthday week. lots of cleaning to do here…http://www.ithinkicansquared.blogspot.com/2014/03/weekly-goals.html
My family recently moved to Illinois from the south, so this will be my first time at the Hearts at Home conference! I’m attending one of your breakout sessions, and I’m so excited! We are getting ready to have our third child, and I keep telling my husband that he better wait to come until I get to see Crystal Paine! 🙂 So excited to hear from you in person, I have loved reading your blog! I love reading your goals each week, it inspires me!
Yay!! I hope I get a chance to meet you, too!
That’s great news about the house! We’re thinking about making a long distance move soon, and the details involved are mind numbing!

That’s great that you got the house and it came in under budget. Love when that happens.
I had a good productive week last week! Thanks for the accountability and encouragement to press on.

Congrats on the house! I hope sometime to see you speak in person at a conference! 🙂 Here are my goals this week: http://womenwithintention.com/goals-week-13/
That would be so fun if we could meet in person sometime!
Love reading your goals and the accountability from posting ours. I need to make more of an effort to increase my water intake.
Hope that you guys get the rental house you want and moving plans go smoothly.

We found out tonight that we got the house!!! We’re pretty excited as it meets all our criteria and then some — and it’s a few hundred dollars less per month than the budget we’d set! 🙂
That’s awesome that you got the house!!! Look forward to hearing more about your adventure!

What did you think of the homemade whipped butter? Just thinking about butter makes me want to get a piece of bread. Not good!
