Good morning! The windows are open, the breeze is blowing in, the birds are singing… And um, we may be a bit behind on laundry! {Watch the video here for proof.}
Our mother’s helper was out of town on Monday (she and the kids usually do laundry when she’s here on Mondays and Thursdays) and we were gone most of yesterday, so laundry folding hasn’t happened for 6 days now. (Yikes!)
I’m only 5 loads behind right now… I think there’s still hope we’ll conquer Mount Laundry yet today before the mountain grows taller!
(It’s Day #23 of the Go to Bed Early Challenge and I did fairly well at hitting my bedtime and wake up time today. I’ve been feeling SO much more rested this month and that’s been amazing!)
How is YOUR morning going? Did you go to bed on time last night?

Thanks for sharing and being honest! My chair looks like that everyday!!!! No matter how much I fold and put up….there is another load waiting! Makes me feel normal to realize that is what others mom struggle with too!

One of the tips I read somewhere said to always start a new load of laundry once when the last load of laundry has been dried, folded AND put away. I tried to stick to it but doesn’t always work out well … 🙂

I only do a load of laundry everyday, so either myself or the kids always get it folded. Sometimes I find, though, that it’s hard to keep up with putting the laundry away.
As far as going to bed early, I have been doing a lot better-thought not perfect everyday. Thanks so much for the challenge that you ran! It definitely got me started on the right track.

I spent an hour folding clothes last night to catch up on Mt. Washmore. 🙂 Laundry & dishes are the 2 chores that never end at our house.

That pesky laundry! ?
We have ANOTHER snow day here after getting almost a foot of snow yesterday. I stayed up reading until 10:00 last night and slept in until 7:30 this morning. Feeling very well-rested!

We call it Mt. Clothesmore at my house.
