Happy Monday! I had a very restful weekend — mostly offline just hanging out with my family and catching up on rest. It was SO good and soul-filling!
Today is Day #6 of the Go to Bed Early Challenge and I’m excited that it’s carrying over to my weekends, too — I even went to bed before 10 pm on Saturday night!! I’ve been doing a great job at my 2-step evening routine and I can really tell that it’s making a difference in my sleep and in helping me to just relax. Yay!
Also, this book, Finding Spiritual Whitespace isn’t anything like I expected it to be, but it’s everything that I need to read. So, so good and messing with me in such a profound way!

Overall, I’ve been doing good with the challenge. However, my truck driver husband has been home for a few days and so I threw the challenge out the window so I could spend time with him. 🙂 He goes back on the road soon and I will get back to the challenge then!
That sounds like a great reason to throw the challenge out the window!

I’m trying, I try every night and still some how I never make it. 🙁 I know going to bed early and getting up at least an hour and a half before my kids get up will help me get more writing done on my blog but breaking a life long bad habit of going to bed late is so hard to do. Trying again tonight.

Last night was crazy-late. We went to watch the Superbowl at my brother-in-law’s house, so it was after 11:30 when we got home to bed. That 4:00 alarm this morning was a killer. Looking forward to getting back to the regular routine tonight!
I slacked off on Saturday but did well yesterday – went to sleep at 10:30 and got up at 6 am.
