Lowe’s is hosting another Kids’ Workshop event on May 16th, 2026 from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. in-stores! Kids will be able to build their own Garden Basket!
If you can’t make that time or prefer to make the kit at home, you can also pick up the kit any time between 12-8 p.m. that same day!
Either way, be sure to register ahead of time to reserve your space and kit!

I was sooo broke as a momma when my kids were little. I had found out about this program and managed to make our Saturday mornings the highlight of the week. A local restaurant would sell kid coupons 8 for a$1 every Feb for vday and October for Halloween. It offer free kidmeals with purchase of 1 entree. It was frisch’s aka big boy. I would take my 2 kids to build and grow and then have lunch. 3-4 hours of entertainment, a toy to bring home, and full tummies for less than $10 bucks. I always tell people with kids about the program! I’m glad you are, too!

Lowes had done these when my older boys were younger, then discontinued them. I am THRILLED to see them being offered again. It’s hard to find fun free or cheap things to do as a family and these are right up my boys’ alley!
