I had been debating on renewing my Sam’s membership or trying Costco…this answered my dilemma! Thanks for sharing! ?

  • Dawn Gehle says:

This looks like a great deal! But it also states that you have to mark that you’ll auto-renew.

    • Jordan says:

With services that require you to select auto-renew, you can typically cancel before the auto-renew takes place. Hope that helps! -Jordan, MSM Team

  • Sarah Boys says:

Can you get all the coupons and then just cancel the auto renew? Has anyone tried this? I want the deal but do not want auto renew. Thanks!

  • Morgan says:

Question! My membership expired in Feb 2019. Can I use this? The wording is a bit confusing on existing membership/renewal.

  • Linda Martin says:

Can I go to the store in Barrie Ontario Canada in person and sign up for a card and get the deal that is being offered at this time?

    • Jordan says:

I am not sure since this is a Groupon deal. I would think that because it is a deal through a third party that you have to sign up through them. Your best bet would be to call your store and ask a customer service rep. Hope that helps! -Jordan, MSM Team

    • Meg says:

No, this deal is only available through Groupon, unfortunately. Sorry about that! -Meg, MSM Team

  • Wendy says:

If my husband has the account and it expired a few months ago, I was also added to the account, so does that not allow me to get this groupon deal?

  • Doreen Sevestrean says:

I was in to get my costco membership today and my local VA costco has a second deal going for all the folks coming in with groupon. If you upgrade your membership and get a Costco credit card you get a $60 cashback card. I didnt do it because I dont need the upgrade but I thought I would share this just in case others could benefit by it.

  • Sara says:

I bought this deal last week. I got my card from Costco but didn’t get any of the coupons. They gave me a bag so I thought the coupons & cash card were in there but it was just Costco information and their ad. Are the freebies sent later?

    • Jordan says:

In the deal’s fine print it says that coupons and gift card will be mailed with in 4-6 weeks of activation. Sorry for the confusion! It can be difficult to find that information sometimes. Hope that helps! -Jordan, MSM Team

  • Cindy Simons says:

Interesting comments but I still don’t see why Costco is better than Sam’s. Sam’s runs the new customer deal every year, usually found on Groupon. Is Costco cheaper, are there other advantages?

    • Meg says:

It honestly just depends on your preferences! Sam’s and Costco carry very different types of products. I personally love Costco more because I find that they have a lot of specialty food items for special diets (I’m a vegetarian and eat a lot of organic products), great produce prices, and amazing foods for entertaining! But other people love Sam’s Club more. I suggest going to each with a friend who already has a membership and deciding which one you like better. Of course, distance to your house matters, too! Hope that helps. -Meg, MSM Team

  • Nicki says:

Yes you can! We did it a few years ago when it was offered and they let us in right away!

  • Joy says:

If we would purchase this deal how much would renewal be next year?

  • Betsy says:

    Is this offer still current?

  • Ron Wenaas says:

Has this expired? Link doesn’t work.
