I love your meal planning and recipes. A while back, I’d asked for your chicken gravy over rice recipe and I just wanted to let you know it is a huge hit in my house. My kids gobble it up. I have used it for turkey gravy over rice and even poured it over rice and breaded chicken as a “country gravy.” I have tweaked the seasonings so it is just to everyone’s taste. It is a great, simple recipe that is packed with flavor. We also make the Hamburger Vegetable Soup and it’s great, too. Thanks so much for all the fantastic, budget-friendly recipes.
Awww, this comment makes me happy! Thanks so much for letting me know – and I’m SO glad you like it. 🙂 I’m all about simple, cheap recipes that the entire family will eat without complaint!
I am always jealous of your grocery deals, as I am no where near those stores. I find it so interesting to see your included Wal-mart items this week. I just got the two pack of butter at my local Wal-mart and my price is $6.24. If I ever relocate, I’m checking out grocery store prices first! 😉
Thanks for sharing your menus!
I’m always amazed at how much prices vary across the country, even when it’s the same exact products at the same exact stores! Walmart is so NOT my favorite store, but it is super convenient as we live close enough to walk there, and Walmart is rarely out of things like our local Aldi is (plus Aldi is a 15-20 minute drive from our house).
