I just read your money saving mom book in audio. It was a good read. I enjoy all that you said. Making a difference in this world is for everyone.

We also love The Storybook Bible you mentioned and have bought it as gifts & used it with our grandchildren. But my favourite one is The Big Picture Story Bible by David Helm!!! The illustrations are great! It’s written in a totally different style than any other Bible storybook we’ve ever had. (It comes with two CD discs of it being read aloud by the author who is a father of five children and a pastor himself
He pulls out truths from the stories that give “a-ha moments” even to adults. We have used the- birth of Jesus story several times, in different churches we’ve pastored, for a Christmas Eve service. (and adults have said afterwards- We wished you hadn’t stopped reading! The stories are well written!)
Please check it out😊

I read The Book Thief this year, and it is a great book! I had seen the movie and finally had a chance to read it. The book is better than the movie!
The Fault in Our Stars should be reserved for older teens. When I saw that movie in the theater, I really cried like I hadn’t in a long time! (And I’m in my 50s!) There is premarital sex and the main characters are dealing with cancer, so you may want to discuss this with your child before or after she reads it.
I saw the movie Wonder, so I really want to read the book now! Thank you for the recommendation!

I agree on The Book Thief — that’s one of Kathrynne’s favorite books! And yes, I also agree on The Fault in Our Stars.
