During the month of April, I’m encouraging my readers to participate in a 30-Day House Cleaning Challenge (read more here, if you missed my announcement about this challenge last week). Every week day morning at 9 a.m., I’ll post the daily project and every evening around 6 p.m. EST, I’ll post an update and link-up.
I’m flying back from North Carolina today and since I already cleaned my linen closet and cleaned my very messy closet, I gave myself another day off the cleaning challenge.
Yes, that’s my messy closet in all it’s glory. And see the after-cleaning picture here.
But I’m back on the bandwagon tomorrow so I can finish the challenge out strong!

I had cleaned out my linen closet last week so I gave myself a grace period today. I did give a loving look to my hard work though 😉
I’m glad I’m not the only one who had to take some time off the challenge!
I was happy for the nudge in today’s challenge. I organized my linen closet and found four things to get rid of! Cash and gift cards would have been amazing, but I’ll settle for thankfulness for all I’m blessed with and an organized closet!
I am so glad I cleaned out the hall closet in addition to cleaning out the linen closet (pretty much already done)! I found $194.47 in cash and a $100.00 gift card. It felt like I got paid for doing this challenge! Now to find something worthwhile to spend it on…

I worked on my linen closet today. It houses my stockpile so there is quite a bit of stuff in the closet. But luckily I had already organized it not too long ago so it wasn’t too bad.
I gave myself some grace today because today was jam packed with activities, so I only organized a small linen closet… It definitely needed it though ,and I’m so glad it’s done!
