Goals from two weeks ago (we were out of town last Monday & Tuesday, so I didn’t get goals set or posted… such is life sometimes!):

Marriage/Mothering/Homemaking Goals

1. Continue on with our Morning Time routine. Read aloud for at least 20 minutes every day. (I almost hit this goal, but ended up missing a few days while we were out of town.)

2. Write a love note to Jesse.

3. Have a date with Jesse.

4. Write a note of encouragement to one person.

Personal Goals

5. Exercise at least 4 times.

6. Finish at least two books.

10. Finish up edits on the script/handbook on my soon-to-be-released course. (More details coming soon! I’m SO excited about this and how it’s coming together thanks to a great team who is putting so much heart and effort into it!)

Looks like your ear cozy is coming along really well. I made a pair of fingerless gloves this week for a friend. I just finished them last night.

Can’t wait to hear more about the course you’re working on, how exciting.

I have been trying to meet with the director of a women’s prison re-entry program for 5 weeks. Every meeting we have set up has had to be cancelled for some reason. We are scheduled for tomorrow morning at 10 and snow and slick roads are predicted. Today I have taken my hands off this whole thing and given it to God which is what I should have done 5 weeks ago. I am anxious to get started working with 2 prison release ladies who need to get their GED but God knows when so it is in His timing now. Perhaps I need to learn something before He allows me to work with them. Only He knows that and so I must trust Him. It will stay a goal until it is done!

I like your goal of writing a note of encouragement to someone – terrific goal!

  • Cari says:

Thanks for the good ideas on goal setting and for keeping us accountable!
