So, um, with life and finishing up my book, I’ve not done a great job of goal-setting recently. I’m trying to give myself grace and remind myself that it’s been a full season — and that sometimes that is life and you just have to do the best you can do and power through, by the grace of God. 🙂
However, now that my book draft is done, I am so looking forward to having much more breathing room in my life. And I’m looking forward to being able to get back to more faithful goal-setting again!
This week’s goals:
Marriage/Mothering/Homemaking Goals
1. Start reading Unwrapping the Greatest Gift with the kids.
2. Write a love note to Jesse.
3. Have a movie night with Jesse.
Personal Goals
4. Work on reviewing and memorizing Romans 1 and Romans 2:1-4.
5. Finish the She Reads Truth Thankfulness study (yes, I’m a wee bit behind!)
6. Finish at least two books.
7. Run or exercise at least 3 times.
8. Get back on the Trim Healthy Mama plan (I gave myself some grace days the past few weeks… and I didn’t totally fall off the bandwagon, but I’m ready to get back to more discipline here!)
Business Goals
9. Have end-of-year meetings with my executive team & map out big business goals for 2015.
10. Answer interview questions for an upcoming magazine interview.
How did you do on last week’s goals? What are your goals for this week? I’d love to have you share your progress on last week’s goals and your goals for this coming week in the comments. Of, if you’ve blogged about it, leave your direct link below. Let’s cheer each other on to live purposeful and productive lives! You can download a free customizable weekly goal-planning sheet here.

My favorite posts that you write are your 10 Goals For This Week posts. They have encouraged me so much that I am writing down my yearly goals for 2015 so I can join you next year. 🙂

I sent you and your team an e-mail. I was wondering if you might look over my Yearly Goals I wrote down just to make sure I am on the right track. 🙂

I’ve been digging into the THM model of eating for about a month now. I love it! I feel a lot better, and I’ve lost some pesky post-baby weight that’s been hard to get rid of. But some of their suggestions and recommended items are a lot more pricey than what I normally buy. If you have found a way to do THM in a more budget-friendly way, I’d love to hear about it! In fact, I’d love to read a post about your experience overall with THM, if you ever wanted to write about it. 🙂

I’ve purchased a few of the specialty ingredients on Amazon, but mostly, I just adapt our menu plan to work for me. Since Jesse eats fairly healthfully and our dinner menu plan is 90-95% Paleo, it works out well. I just rotate between oatmeal with a little coconut oil on it or eggs/bacon for breakfasts and then usually have a simple lunch — something like salad or veggies with rice and some kind of protein.
Once I understood the plan, it’s been fairly easy for me to follow — and I feel SO much better when I eat this way!

Love your goals this week – they really focus on relationships and growth (while still getting some work done!)

If you don’t mind me asking. One of your goals is to write a love letter to your husband. Can you share more on that? If it is to personal I understand.

Here’s a post I wrote on that: https://moneysavingmom.com/2013/12/qa-tuesday-write-love-notes-husband.html

I’m excited about your upcoming book and to see where you will go in 2015. It’s been really neat to watch you fluorish the last few years! 🙂
