I got a bushel of apples at a local orchard for $19.50 two weeks ago and I’m so excited to see all these recipes. I went to Bed Bath and Beyond today to get a peeler/corer/slicer to save me time. Wish I’d had it the other day when I made applesauce in the crockpot!
We were blessed with an apple tree at the house we moved into two years ago. And this year was a huge harvest. We have played around with a lot of apple ideas.

Now our tree is done and I already miss all the apples. So I got 20 pounds of organic honeycrisps from Azure this month for I think $26. 🙂
