I told you all that I’m taking the Get Your Pretty On Summer Style Challenge. So far, I’m loving this challenge and can’t believe how much it’s encouraging me to get dressed in a cute outfit every day, try some new outfit pairings, and just enjoy putting together looks. Plus, I LOVE the Facebook Group where women share their own variation of each day’s outfit.
I thought it would be fun to share a round-up of my outfits from this past week in hopes that it might inspire you with ideas and or encourage you to take a little time to mix and match items you already have to create some cute outfits!

I think these shorts are a little short for the top or the top is a little long for the shorts, but it’s what I had, so I went with it!

This was probably my least favorite outfit of the challenge so far. I love the shirt. I love the pants. I just think they are too bland together. It needs a bright pop of color — more than the jewelry. Any ideas or suggestions? I’d love to hear!

I rarely wear dresses… so I am excited to be pushed out of my clothing comfort zone with the GYPO challenge. I’m not sure what I think of this dress, but it might be growing on me!

You look great in everything but I especially like the blue dress. I like the idea of colored shoes with the “drab” outfit, but I also like as is. Not so much a fan of the cold shoulder blouse, just not my style, but you carry it off. Great idea to focus on being stylish. It only takes a small effort to make big changes! Thanks for the inspiration. I’m going to focus on doing it too!

I don’t like the dress or the denim shirt with the hole over the shoulders at all. The denim doesn’t match the shorts. However, I love everything else!!
Ha! I actually loved that outfit. Two of my favorite colors… but the lighting may have looked like it didn’t match. 🙂
Ah yes! photos can completely distort the lighting on things! It also makes a difference how it fits you, how comfortable etc. Its hard to tell with photos! I think I would like the dress to wear to the beach or something! Maybe in Hawaii…. 🙂

That was one of my favorites, too!
Swap the cold-shoulder blouse with the grey shirt and I think you’ll solve the problem. The bright blue shorts will pop they grey shirt. And the cold-shoulder blouse will give the green pants a fun edginess.

I LOVE the dress! You look so radiant! 🙂 I think the earth-toned outfit could be jazzed up with a brightly colored shoe. I personally think it’s adorable as is but I’m a total neutrals person. You do inspire me to add color to my wardrobe, though!

It is so hard to get motivated to get “your pretty on” during the summer in Florida. It does make me feel better until You step outside in the heat – yuck.

I thought the one that you said was your least favorite was the one I thought looked the best on you. I like earthtone colors tho so it’s my style. I also love all the braclets in each picture.

My recommendation for the ‘boring’ outfit is a lightweight infinity scarf. Maybe that still wont work in 90 degree weather 😉

I love the dress on you – looks really cute!! Enjoyed the outfit roundup, and need to do a challenge like this myself (especially when the weather’s so hot that I’m not apt to put much thought into what I’m wearing!)
It’s amazing how putting effort into my outfit makes me feel so much more prepared and organized and even more energetic!
