The chili chowder sounds wonderful! I need to try that – thanks!
This has been on the breakfast menu every week since I first made it. Kids love it and I do to. Win-win! http://carmelmoments.com/cherry-chocolate-granola/
Yum! Thank you so much for sharing the recipe!
I just had to say that I tried your freezer pizza pockets reciepe last week and it was such a huge hit! My kids love to make their own pockets and I love how many this recipe makes! With my husband & I both working full time during the days and both of my kids in different sports & other activities during the evenings this is a keeper that I will be making LOTS of to keep on hand! I am planning on making them for my daughter’s friends who come over for dinner before youth group each week. For my son, age 9, and my daughter, age 12, I have to say that they are kid tested & approved! 🙂
Oh yay! I am SO happy you all enjoyed it!
I pinned the three bean chili chowder it looks like something the hubby and I would like.
I enjoy watching the menus change to include soups, stews, chilis and chowders as the temperatures start to drop. So many recipes, so little time. I plan on trying the 3 bean chili chowder and the chocolate chip muffins sound very good, I bet the sour cream makes them very moist. Here’s the link to our menu plan for the week.

What type of meat for your crock pot day? I ask because I am looking for a yummy sausage and potato dish!
Whatever meat I’ve gotten on a great deal. 🙂 I’ve used pretty much every single kind!
I only plan dinners since I am the only one home during the day. @ kids in high school and hubby works…:)
Monday was Spaghetti with fresh chopped green peppers, onions, mushrooms, and spinach in the sauce. Tuesday (today) is mock drumsticks with chicken rice a roni and mixed veggies. Wednesday is Brats with homemade chips. Thursday is Taco Bake. Friday is pizza night…:)
I make a BBQ cups recipe like what you are making for your freezer cooking. I haven’t made them in a while but they do freeze well. That’s why I love reading other people menu plan posts, I get great ideas for dinner so we don’t get stuck in a dinner rut. 🙂
This week I’m hoping to make 5 loaves of bread for the freezer. Yesterday the kids and myself made some spritz cookies so now we have cookies for this week. Our dinners will be some skillet dishes, a crock pot beef roast, beef noodles with the leftover roast beef and a few other favorites. Here’s the link,
