Are you going to Pine Cove camp? Which one…if it’s the Bluffs my sister is a camp counselor out there!!!!!!!!! Love your website!
It’s the Bluffs. 🙂 What’s your sister’s name?
Mary Catherine McDonald. She loves the Bluffs. This is her second summer being out there, I’m sure you and your family will adore the camp. I love hearing all her stories about what they do each week.
We’ll look for her!
Is it sad that your menu and goals are my favorite posts each week?? Maybe it’s the type a mommy in me. Lists and order I do crave….:) It gets me thinking ahead for my own week too!
I’m so excited for you to come to Pine Cove!! You’re going to have a blast!!
We’re very stoked about it!!!
Your Sante Fe Chicken and Chicken tacos sound yummy! I love anything spicy or Mexican!!

We’ve been so blessed by the inexpensive strawberries available at Aldi, and I’m hoping they bring them back soon so we can try the strawberry lassi.

Totally unrelated, but I wanted to comment on your new placement of your search bar, I really like that it’s at the top now! It makes your site easier for me to navigate. 🙂
Mmm–those rolls look yummy! Here’s our $100 Budget Weekly Menu for six people: http://thepeacefulmom.com/2012/07/06/100-budget-weekly-menu-76/ and the adjustments we make for my gluten free daughter: http://thepeacefulmom.com/2012/07/09/simple-gluten-free-weekly-menu-79/.

Are you going to Pine Cove? We’ll be at the Bluffs Week 8!
Yes! We’ve never done anything like it before and we were totally blown away by Pine Cove’s kindness to invite our family to attend one of their camps this summer. We’re quite excited!
I was planning on totally eating from my freezer this week, but I got a great deal on some steaks at the store today, so we did that tonight instead! http://www.savingmyselfsilly.com/2012/07/menu-plan-79-715.html
The strawberry lassi looks fun! We are trying a few new ones this week… chicken souvlaki, crab tacos, and slow cooker lasagna. Here’s our plan:

Oh- do you get to go to PineCove family camp? If so, that’s so awesome! I know if we lived closer I’d totally take my family there! Have a great time. We are trying to stay cool here too! One day I’m going to try all your different bread/roll/pizza etc. doughs. I have this fear of yeast for some reason and I haven’t overcome it yet, although I did buy yeast at Sam’s club! Silly I know.
Marie,
I’m intimidated by using yeast, too, for some reason!
Looks delish! Here’s our menu:
