I just made the chocolate chip cookies in a cup recipe last night and my family LOVED it! The only drawback was each cup took one egg, so for me that’s a little expensive. But I will definitely be doing these again!

When you do popcorn as a snack, I’m curious if you do microwave, stove, or air popped popcorn? 🙂
Crystal says
Usually air popped, but occasionally microwave if I get a deal on it!
Chelsea says
Oh okay! Just wondering because I recently posted a stove top recipe on my blog, and I’m trying to convince everyone I know who normally does microwave popped to try it out. It is so much tastier, in my opinion, and of course healthier! I don’t really know how it compares to air popped because I’ve never tried it that way. 🙂 Either way- if you and your kiddos want to try a new popcorn recipe anytime soon, here’s the link: http://bit.ly/12gCTCU

I’ve tried stove popped a few times and it was more work than air popped, but also really yummy. 🙂

We have a microwave popper (which is really just a plastic or ceramic plate/dome) that we use all the time. I love it, ease of microwave pop corn with the oil-less results of air poppign and really no clean up.
I know a lot of people have sucess putting the corn in just a normal paper bag and popping but I’ve always ended up with a lot of excess unpopped kernels (or burnt popcorn is I leave it long enough to pop ’em all.)
Just a thought..

My menu this week is focusing on foods that don’t heat up the kitchen, with either no cooking or quick stovetop cooking only:

I have so many recipes pinned to try on my boards, I really need to just try one or two out each week. I did create a new freezer jam recipe this week using what berries we had on hand and it turned out. 🙂
My daughter and myself have made the homemade bath bombs for gifts before an they were really well received. Have fun tinkering in the kitchen this week.
