I only went shopping once this week, thanks to a well-stocked fridge and freezer and cupboards (and some friends sharing some more fresh produce with us!):
I spent $5.82 on everything pictured above. Read more details on this shopping trip here.

Did you snag any great deals or bargains this week or save money in other ways?
If so, be sure to post about them on your blog and leave your link
below. Please remember that this weekly round-up is to share deals you
personally got and/or money you were able to save this week. In order

Saw your post about the Luv’s contest. Hope to be a winner!
I usually don’t like leaving comments at sites, but this one I’ll try. I hope to be able to print the $5.00 Luvs coupon tomorrow for a friend. Her husband is in Afghanistan and with money being tight, it will help her budget.
Thanks so much for your daily blogs! I look forward to getting your emails everyday. My family would be super excited to win the Luv’s diapers! Good luck to you and happy bargin shoppng.
Just signing up for Luv’s.
Thanks so much for breaking your shopping trips down like this. It helps me learn how to stretch my dollar further!
Update on a comment I left on an earlier post….
I hit up CVS and started my ECB “nest egg.” The same day I received a coupon in the mail for CVS stating that we could receive a 25$ gift card if we transferred a prescription. Done. We transferred 2 and received a 50$ gift card today. Now I can build up my ECBs using “FREE” money! Whoo-hoo! Thank you again for your sweet CVS tutorials. They really helped increase my understanding of the process.
Secondly – I hit up Target to learn more about my Target’s policies since some commenters seemed to have issues. I had absolutely NO problems. I told my cashier (who was a young guy and totally nice and helpful) that this was my first time ever trying anything with coupons. He was very courteous. I was able to get 10 string cheese, the cereal cups and the fiber one deal. AND (this is the best part) I used your link to print 2 of that awesome Enfamil coupon, and stacked it with 2 Target coupons and 2 rebate checks! I did this as a second transaction and used my 5$ gift card towards it. I was able to get my formula for 50% OFF!!! Whoo-hoo!!
Thank you again for all you do to maintain this site. It has totally helped me rock the coupon world!
I had problems with the cheerios and string cheese as well! I was told they no longer would take the coupons for the single cup or single string cheese!
Update on my earlier post … so I went back out minus the husband & I had absolutely NO problems w/any of the coupons or deals. Of course I choose my cashier carefully and she was a coupon clipping Mommy like myself. 🙂
Birthday celebrations. How do you give your kids a great birthday party and not break the bank?
Going to go shopping? I go as rarely as possible and use this recipe to help stretch out the time between grocery visits (and save some pennies!
My husband visited Super Target today to get more of the great coupon deals. He was told that the Cheerio’s coupons were fraudulent … $1/1 box (http://www.organicgrocerydeals.com/forums/view.php?pg=coupon_generator). This coupon was printed from the Organic Grocery Deals site that you often refer to. Strangely enough, I was able to use these coupons earlier in the week, but my husband was told that they were notified by Corporate that these coupons are fraudulent. He was also told that the string cheese was not an option w/the cheese coupon (since it wasn’t as pictured) .. yet again I was able to cash in on this earlier this week. Not sure if they are getting stricter or just the cashier he decided to visit today. This is in Fishers, IN. Thanks!
I’ve never left a comment, but I visit your site daily. Thank you for such a wonderful sight! I am inspired to live a life of frugality so I am being a good steward of our finances. Thank you so much for a wonderful sight!
