I’m glad I’m not the only one who has taken a break from deals! This past month I have been more relaxed about grocery and drugstore shopping and at times felt a bit guilty about missing out but I have realized that my time with my family is much more important that scoring free stuff.
Bridie Sellers says
Thanks for the chance to link up!

So glad Super Savings Saturday is back! I look forward to it every weekend- I think it’s my favorite part of your blog 🙂
Samantha @ Mama Notes says
Awesome Crystal! When you buy things that are marked down (I’m assuming because they are expiring soon) do you put them in the freezer if you don’t need them right away?
Crystal says
Yes, I only buy marked down items I know we can use within a few days or that can be frozen.

You did fabulous on all of your shopping, and I am still amazed by the low cost of those pjs.
I shopped a lot more than usual this week, but I had been planning for it.
Happy New Year!

Is that turkey sausage pretty good? I see it marked down also- but I don’t know how to cook it- what to use it for?
Jenelle @ Frugal Family Feasts says
@jan, It’s really good sausage. We usually just grill it. It’s not greasy at all. The sausage is REALLY soft so cutting it up hasn’t worked, but it could be ground/browned to use in recipes. Their link breakfast sausage is our favorite.
