My apologies on being so late in getting this posted. We just found out yesterday that it’s almost 100% sure we’re moving in 4-6 weeks. Needless to say,
my brain is running 200 miles per hour to get everything lined up for that! This will be the fourth time we’ve moved in less than six years so you’d think I’d be a pro at this by now. 🙂
At any rate, things are looking to be a bit busy here for the next little while. But we’re thrilled about it since this move is a huge answer to prayer and literally a dream come true for us. God continues to show Himself so faithful! I’ll share more details soon, in the mean time, here’s our deal for this week…
My husband did all the grocery shopping for me again this week and I was incredibly impressed at how much stuff he was able to get with the $70 budget. We were both especially excited about the Target Kashi deal.
He bought 16 boxes of various Kashi products and paid less than $14 for all of them after coupons. PLUS, he got $20 in gift cards back! He’s planning to head to Target again tonight to use those $20 in gift cards and buy some more Kashi products. This is such a great deal–especially since the waffles and granola bars come in very handy right now!

Thanks for the heads-up on the Target deal. We spent about $50 or $60 on Kashi products! 🙂

I have never tried Kashi’s but it looks good! Great deals!! Happy packing.

I just got back from our Target that unfortunately doesn’t carry the waffles but I did get 4 boxes of oatmeal for like $2.15 each. PLUS they let me use 2 of the printable 2/1 coupons at the same time, so all in all I made about 40 cents minus tax 🙂

Thank you so much for the CVS tutorial! It’s really helping me out a lot! Also, all your coupon postings are wonderful. Thanks!

If you get the strawberry and flax waffles, they apparently don’t work in the computer for the gc, so insist that they do something for you to compensate. My store’s manager said it was something that Kashi restricted, not them. So at our store, they’re ringing up blueberries or whatever other flavor you get other than the strawberry in order for it to generate the gc. What’s sad for Target is that the strawberry ones cost more. So they had to give me a 82 cent refund on the two I got, just so I could get the rebate. They had to eat the money because Kashi made a bad code restriction.

Hi, I am new to the blog and wondered what coupons were used and how did your husband get the gift cards? Much appreciated for anyone who could break the deal down for me. Thanks!

Good luck with the move…and the packing….and unpacking! And thanks for taking time from your busy schedule so the rest of us can brag about our deals! 🙂

It was the same at my Target…most (if not all) Kashi products seemed to be included with no limit on how many you can buy. Crystal – thanks so much for posting about this! We love Kashi products and I am so thankful we were able to stock up at such a great price!

I love Walgreens this week. Sometimes I find it easier than CVS to get the really good deals. Maybe it’s just coz I’m used to going there!

I’m sooo jealous! Where on earth did you get that many coupons? I registered on the Kashi site long ago, and have never been able to print more coupons since that first time. What’s your trick? Do you have a dozen email addresses or something? I’m not being critical- I honestly want to know! Thanks!

Money Saving Mom here:
I registered an account for my hubby and for me and got 4 $2/1 coupons thataway. Then I used some of the coupons from the VocalPoint mailer. I also used a few gift cards I’d earned from previous deals that I’d originally earned from getting friends to sign up with eBates.com–so they were completely free!
Also, we got some overage from other coupons that was applied to our order as well. So, that’s how our total got down to $14 for all the Kashi products.
(Oh and the oatmeal was only $2.33 per box–a little cheaper than the 4 for $11 and the waffles were only $1.69!)

Hi Crystal,
I’m looking forward to hear your exciting news – so glad that more positive things are on the horizon for you and your family!

So it looks like the waffles worked on the deal, huh? I would love to get to Target today to do more with my $5 gc but I just don’t think it will happen. Too bad — could really fill up the freezer for free.

Money Saving Mom here: Yes, Carrie, my hubby said that *all* Kashi products were marked as being part of the deal at our Target–including the waffles. And the cash register was automatically prompted to give him a $5 gift card for each 4 he bought.
