I just joined YouData.com. You provide some information on exercise
habits, family size, etc. and then are paid to view online advertising. It’s quick and easy and not terribly invasive to your privacy, and you
get real money transferred to your PayPal account based on how many ads
you click on. You can watch as many or as few ads as you want.It does
require that you provide your cell phone and e-mail address in order to
prove that you’re a real person, but no mailing address info is
required and they just text an authorization code to your phone and
that’s it.
I tried to sign up for this but accidentally gave my home phone # instead of my cell # (oops!) and then couldn’t figure out how to change it to proceed with the registration and test it out. So, if you try this or have experience with this, let us know your thoughts!

agreed. pleasantly surprised :). i’ve made $3.60 so far and i signed up 30 minutes ago!

Do you have to wait for them to email you in order to view ads?

Has anyone experienced a problem when trying to click the button to sig up… I get a security warning telling me “Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server.”
I don’t want my information to get to the wrong hands.
Anyone else experience any problems?

My computer is blocking the site because it says there is a problem with the site’s security certificate and the website is different than the address provided. Anyone else have this issue? I can un-block it, but don’t want my computer fried if it is a sham site (which my computer messages me that it might be).

Not fair! I don’t have a cell phone! We can’t afford one right now! It sounds great though!

Perhaps not enough advertisers, more likely plenty of people for where they’re at in the business. I’ve been average about $1 per week for the past couple of weeks. Since I’m just building up the emergency fund and some sinking funds, that’s OK for now, but not nearly as great as a month ago.
K. Anne says
I haven’t gotten any ads in days. Makes me wonder if they perhaps don’t have enough advertisers yet?
Jessica says
I received my payment of $4.94 into my PayPal account on Friday afternoon! They only took 10 cents for fees. Not a bad deal for a couple minutes worth of ad clicking.
Angie says
I have not received payment yet but it says I have $7.98 in my account. When I check to see if my paypal account is on there, it says there is an error so I guess I will have to do a little detective work. Anyone else have a problem with this?
Linda says
I too received a payment on Friday afternoon, did a couple more ads and got payment again on Saturday. Now I am receiving no ads. I wonder if that means I am out of the program. I hope not.

I signed up this past Wed. and was paid yesterday (Friday) as promised. I had $6.04 in my account so once they took the 2% out fo rthe Paypal fees a total of $5.92 was deposited into my paypal account. Well earlier today I did a couple more adds for a total of .40 cents and I just received an email from paypal stating that youdata.com had deposited that .40 cents into my account….so I am by no means complaining! I was just wondering if anyone else has been paid twice yet?
Chris from St. Mary's says
I got $4.83. Then I clicked on a couple of ads today and they made payment again! Another 65 cents. But since I already withdrew the $4.83, I need to wait until next week to get it out of Paypal when I get paid from YouData.

$1.41 for me! That was for two days of “work”. Good deal.
jaimee06 says
just checked my paypal account and received a payment of $6.52 for the week. I must admit, I’m pleasantly surprised.

I earned $6.14 this week and got $6.02 deposited into my paypal account this afternoon! Woo Hoo!

I just received $5.51 in my paypal account. I just takes a minute to click on the ads each day. I just joined On Wednesday, so I am looking forward to see how much I can earn in a full week. This is a great way to “grow” the paypal account to buy a few Christmas presents with. Thanks for sharing .
Kat says
WOW!!!! I received my first payment today!! $5.92 in my Paypal account on Friday evening!! It only took a couple of minutes everyday while I was surfing.

I think they’re definately aiming this more at the female demographic than the male one. I’m only seeing about 3-4 ads a day. Not that I’ll complain about a few bucks being thrown my way! 🙂
A heads up to any husbands looking into this, the site says “Just so you know, though anyone can create a MeFile, YouData is most actively rolling out in 3 geographic/local markets in Texas, in addition to one very significant national demographic, online females and mommy bloggers.” Seems like women will get a bigger return then men for now.

I just wanted to update everyone that so far i have $6.56 and i signed up on saturday. I love this!!

Did anyone else have a problem with activation? I did my correct e-mail and cell phone but when I type them in both say they are incorrect activation codes. I e-mailed the company about it but it was so late last night I went to bed and today I can’t get through to anyone. Hopefully one of you can help. Than You!

I love this new idea! I am at $1.52 so far, but I’ve only been doing it for a few days. The thing I want to do is post it on my blog, and I haven’ t found a way to do that. If anyone finds out when they start that, email me. I love that people get to share the profit, so if I post the widget on my site, whoever clicks gets half. Much better than banner advertising where the reader gets nothing.

I just got my first offers this morning and earned $2.30. I will be interested to see how much I can do by Friday and how much I actually receive. Will update you if anything “fishy”.
jess says
awesome!! i signed up, look at a bunch of websites, found some awesome new places to shop, and QUICKLY earned $2.30! thanks!
Angie says
I just signed up today and made $2.25. I figure this will help pay for my coupons that I buy on ebay or songs on itunes. Great way to add to the paypal account!
Kat says
Hope this works like it claims!!! Can’t wait to find out!!
Jen says
I just signed up and have already made close to $1

I just joined last Thursday and received my PayPal transfer right away on Friday! I only earned about $0.39 since I only had one day in but so far this week I’m up to $3.10 and I love it!

I’m trying to register with the site, but it’s taking foreeeeeverrrrrrr for each page to load. Hopefully after the “activation” part is done, it will work better. Otherwise, it won’t be worth the time!
Renee says
I just did this today, and I have $.61 cents!! We’ll see what happens Friday! =)
jaimee06 says
just wanted to update- 15 minutes after I emailed, I had a response. No minimum to get paid. It is every Friday, around 3p Central time (make sure you entered your paypal info). Fee is b/c they do a mass payment & paypal charges them for this. It’s 2%, or max $1 for total transfer amount.
Esther says
No, it’s not just a penny per click. I think it works out to about $0.20/ad, although they vary a little. In the three days since I signed up, I’ve earned $4.40, and since it’s a new company, I’m guessing they’ll be adding advertisers and there will be more ads to click on in the future. Right now there are 6-8 ads per day.
jaimee06 says
just signed up, and have earned $0.20 from my first ad. I missed the part about paying every Friday as mentioned above, but did see that (a) you can request payment only when you have the minimum account balance specified by YouData, and (b) YouData may deduct fees/transaction costs from your MeFile account.”
I just sent them an email asking for more information about the transaction costs. Also couldn’t find a “request payment” button- unless it’s automatic like mentioned above.
I also read that they are currently targeting specific geographic locations & demographics- including online females- so those are supposed to get more ad offers at first.
Jessica says
I just signed up today and have already made $0.40!! The fine print says they transfer the money to your paypal account every Friday afternoon. We will see.

You can log in with the ID you provided and your password, go to the Housekeeping Tab, and update your phone # there. Then go back to the home page where it says you need to finish verifying, and have it text you again.
I originally entered my email address wrong and customer support told me this was how to fix it!
Good luck!
Heather says
How Much Money are you getting paid? It is like a penny per click like some of the other ones?
