I thought you might like to hear how I was able to save up Amazon gift cards from Swagbucks — which I then used towards some things for our local pregnancy help center.
I bought 2 big boxes of baby wipes, onesies, and socks using the Amazon gift cards I purchased with my Swagbucks!
I’m not a crazy “Swagger”, I just get about 20 a day, but even that adds up over time. I usually do the daily poll, search engine, NOSO and some of the encraves.
Swagbucks can be a great way for people who want to give to others, but are on a tight budget.
I’m not a crazy swagger either, but one thing I do most days is to run the SBTV mobile app on my phone and just let it run in the background. You can get up to 50 SB’s a day this way for doing practically nothing.
Here and there an ad will pop up that you have to click on in order for it to continue, but for the most part it just proceeds from one video to the next automatically, so you don’t have to interact with it very much.
What an awesome idea and answer to prayer, both for the CPC and myself. I have been praying for ways to bless others on an extremely tight budget! I’m so grateful you shared this! I used swagbucks to purchase some Christmas presents last year and this year I purchased a food saver (to help trim our grocery budget) and replaced a broken item my husband needed for his daily commute. Now I know what I can do with the next rewards.
What a GREAT idea! We’re always looking for ways to help out the Pregnancy Centers/now called “Life Centers” in our city….thank you so much!!
I love the idea of giving to a CPC! We’ve also used SB for giving, but we gave a whole bunch of our Amazon codes to a family in a tough financial spot. They were able to use them for some clothes their kid needed, but they could have spent them on anything under the sun. Being able to have the option to give the codes away is why I don’t apply mine to my Amazon account until I’m ready to spend them.
Thanks for mentioning this! I always apply my codes to my Amazon account as soon as I get them. The thought of not doing that so that I can give them to someone else never occurred to me.
You’re welcome. 🙂
It is nice to see others being so generous ! I can just imagine how wonderful the center felt when they received these items. GOD bless !!!!
That is such a great idea! I love to see what happens when we think outside the box. It’s also very encouraging to see people doing things for the sake of others. Makes me think of ways my family can do something for someone else. Thanks for the thought!
I love this so much!! I feel selfish admitting this but Swagbucks has always been a way for me to splurge on myself. I love this idea and after we get enough Swagbucks to pay off our double stroller for new baby (taking a very long time!) I’m going to use my SB for this same thing.
That is so sweet! Generosity can take so many forms.
