What I Read This Past Week
As I told you last week, I slowly savored this book. It was really thought-provoking and I didn’t want it to end!
This book delves into racism and brings up a lot of the current issues that, sadly, are so rampant in our day and age. I think it’s a worthwhile read and will really make you think.
What I Watched This Past Week
Jesse and I watched Dunkirk and, well, I was unimpressed with it. I felt like the storyline was really lacking and it just felt disjointed and confusing.
We also watched a few more episodes of Designated Survivor. We are still really enjoying that show!
When I Find Time to Read
People are always asking me how I find time to read. Honestly, it’s because I love to read, because I’ve chosen to prioritize it, because I don’t have a lot of other hobbies, and because I can’t not read. Also, when you love something, you usually can find ways to get creative to find time to fit it in — even if it’s in the little nooks and crannies of life.
I wrote a post on 3 ways to find more time to read — even when life is busy. And here are 7 more ways to find time to read.
I was disappointed with Dunkirk too!
I’m glad to know I wasn’t the only one!
