I had an existing Peacock account and when I tried activating the offer, it said I couldn’t take advantage of offer, BUT…I did a live chat with them and they canceled my plan immediately that day so that I could then start the new $19.99 deal. Looks like it was a one day deal. Couldn’t get it to work today.
You can purchase and then go right into your account settings and hit cancel. This still gives you the 365 day access, but you won’t have to worry about remembering to cancel an auto-renew.

How will I download to my TV after purchasing on internet
You can use the app on what ever you use for streaming to your TV. For example if you have an Apple TV of Amazon FireStick you will use the Peacock app on those devices to stream to your television.
