One of the things our family loves to do together is watch shows and movies. Recently, someone asked what our favorite shows are to watch together as a family. So, we all talked together as a family and compiled a list of some of the shows we’ve most enjoyed together.
On this week’s podcast episode, we share that list + we talk about why we don’t have a TV in our living room and how we approach being intentional and careful in our TV-watching.
We also talk about a book we’re finishing together as a family, the Panera unlimited coffee subscription, and a YouTube video I’ve rewatched multiple times.

My husband and I loved Designated Survivor!!! Then we watched the first few minutes of season 3. 😮 I didn’t read any reviews, and was so shocked.
We like Little House on the Prairie, Brady Bunch, baking/cooking shows, and the Cosby Show at the moment. Also the Addams Family, Heartland, the original Full House, and episodes of Veggie Tales. Kids are ages 2-10.
Thank you for sharing!
If Jesse likes Brad Thor he should check out Daniel Silva (Gabriel Allon series) and Ethan Smoak (Orphan X).
Thank you for the suggestions! I’ll pass them onto him!
The first season of “Alone” is amazing. Absolutely great for a family. It’s like Survivor without the bras and deceit. Second season had had a lot of language bleeped out but a good chance to talk to our three girls about watching our for a man who has temper!
Thanks so much for the recoomendation!
My kids are little so we watch the muppets and cartoons together but if y’all like political drama try the West Wing. It will definitely bring up so good conversations and it’s an excellent show! I don’t agree with most of their politics but love the show anyway!
Thank you so much for the suggestion! Jesse loves that show!
