Did you get your $0.31 ice cream from Baskin Robbins tonight? We certainly did!
We've missed a lot of the other recent great food freebies and deals since I was too sick to make it out of the house. But the antibiotics are finally kicking into gear and I'm feeling much more energetic (I didn't know that was possible at 40 weeks pregnant, but compared to how sick I was last week, I feel great this week!) so we ventured out tonight to enjoy some very inexpensive and delicious ice cream.
Of course, apparently we weren't the only ones to have decided to hit up Baskin Robbins tonight. In fact, we had a hard time even finding a place to park–there were scores of people everywhere when we pulled up! The line was stretched quite far out the door but that didn't deter us. After all, patience is a virtue, right?

And still waiting for Daddy to get to the front of the line! The girls were very patient and had a blast watching through the window as the long line of people gradually made it up to the ice cream counter.

So great you got to get out! My hubbie and I had a little ice cream cheapie date night!! The BR was so efficient! They were ready for the crowd!! Kudos to them! We pitched in the change to their tip jar, so they got a whole $1 from us! Woo hoo!!
I’m so excited that you’ve finally put up a picture of you pregnant! As far as I can remember, you haven’t until now. You really do look great and fabulous! And the girls are gorgeous as usual. And you actually don’t look 40 weeks pregnant! You could definitely pass for 7 months!
I’m personally hoping you add a little boy to the mix. 🙂
Wow! To be 40 weeks pregnant and look that great, especially after being so sick! You are one awesome mama! Thanks for posting this pic. We’ve all been so curious as to how you look pregnant, that I think everyone will enjoy this post.
By the way, I know if the baby turns out to be a girl, it will be a good thing, since you already have so many girl clothes and things. But for your husband’s sake, I hope it’s a boy, to kind of even things out!! Hee hee. Can’t wait to hear the offical news!
Your girls are adorable and you look amazing! Enjoy the last couple days as much as you can before number 3 arrives! Trust me, once you and your husband are outnumbered, it’s a whole new juggling game. It’s great, but exhausting.
You’ve got a beautiful family!! I have three teens and had to wait for the third to get my girl. Girls are definately worth waiting for. BUT boys are WONDERFUL too. Good luck to you and your family as you go through the transition of expanding your family. Enjoy every minute it truely does go by in a flash.

How cute! You look to be in the same boat as me. I’m not sure if you mentioned before how old your girls are but I’ve got three under 3. Oldest daughter turns 3 at the end of June, youngest daughter is 19 months, and then we had baby number three out little boy who is 6 months. Good luck to you! I can’t to find out what you’ll have! We were able to get our, too- and the fireman were so nice- They let my 3 year old go up into the firetruck and even wear a real fireman hat! They gave him a kiddie one and sticker to take- he was talking about it all night!

But seriously, since I’ve gained 30 pounds and that’s more that 25% of my usual body weight, it is quite a lot for me. It happens every pregnancy, though, and it’s for a wonderful cause, so it’s every bit worth it! However, I am definitely anxious to get back to my usual work-out routine once this baby arrives. 🙂

Oh, I am so glad the Lord gave you a reprise to enjoy your fun $0.31 night out. Looks like the girlies are having a great time – precious pictures. We missed it because I was way too busy stockpiling at Harris Teeter during triple coupons. 🙂 Yep, took all the kiddos, divided out the coupons and made them double check we were getting almost everything for “free.” We went before and after church….hee hee. And then the meat manager even found me in the aisle at 9pm as he was leaving and asked if I wanted these lamp chops that they couldn’t sell the next day. I’ve never made lamb in my life, but when he said that each was marked at $41, and he’d give them to me for $5…it was a sale. Hope my hubby likes lamb, don’t know if I can eat it, but I’ll make it. 🙂
We went too! It was pouring rain here, but the line was still out the door! We both had 2 scoops and by the time I was home, I was about to throw up!!! 🙂 They had run out of one that I wanted, so I ended up with 2 chocolate n peanutbutter because the guy misunderstood my order. Oh well. It was fun!

Im glad you guys had fun! They shut our Baskin Robbins down because of ‘Swine Flu’, but said they would do it another week. Im happy with that.

We had some ice cream last night too! My husband worked late, so I took the 3 kids by myself. Thankfully we only had to wait about 5 minutes in line.
The local fire department was there handing out play fire hats and letting the kids tour the trucks.

Our local BR is a Dunkin’ Donuts combo in a teeny building – I doubt I could have gotten anywhere near the building!

Our local BR was not too crowded. I took the girls at about quarter after 5 and there was a small rush just before we got in line (seemed to appear while we were in the bathroom) but after we sat down to eat our ice cream the line had evaporated.
Between my daughter’s birthday and free scoop day at B&J last week, we’ve been having plenty of ice cream lately!

we did get to our Baskin Robbins for icecream! Actually got there right before the big crowds hit and was even able to score a table outside! We also went and enjoyed some .89 cent nachos from taco bell afterwards!lol
