I've been posting about various survey companies recently and in doing so, I kept hearing about MySurvey.com and how great of a survey company it is.
I finally decided to go and investigate myself and was so impressed with what I discovered. After signing up, I was almost immediately given a really simple survey to fill out which earned me 25 points and have since had two more very easy survey opportunities, both which earned me 10 more points each.
From what I've heard, this company is just as good or even better than Pinecone Research. And the best thing of all? You earn points for every single survey you take–even those which are just qualifiers! So you will never waste time and effort on a survey only to discover you don't qualify. You can redeem your points earned for cash or prizes and every 1000 points equals $10.
Go here to sign up.
As always, you won't get rich filling out surveys, but it's a fun way to add a little extra cashflow to your budget. If you want to sign up with other legitimate survey companies you can go here for my recommended list of survey companies.

I have been a member of MySurvey for a few years now. I love it. I have gotten rewards back in cash, products and gift certificates. I have also gotten a LOT of free products to use and then tell them what we thought of them. They send full sized products, never sample size. They do ask you to dispose of the unused portion of the product after the designated time period is over, but I don’t. If they are going to send me 2 rolls of paper towels – 1 roll for each of two weeks – I am not going to throw the leftovers away. I am going to put them to use. Other than paper towels some of the things I have gotten are: deodorant – 2 kinds, shaving cream for my DH -2 kinds, Pillsbury products including cookies, rolls & biscuits (these came shipped overnight with dry ice to keep them frozen or refrigerated as needed.) My favorite item we have gotten is free pull ups! I had to agree to be in a 6 week study, but we ended up getting 12 regular sized packages of pull ups absolutely FREE and then I earned a lot of points for filing out the information afterwards.

I love MySurvey, there are times when I get 1,000 point surveys and I feel like I hit the jackpot lol
Oh and Denise that SurveySpot.com sweepstakes thing at the end of each survey isn’t fake. I’ve won twice when it comes to that. Once a $50 Circuit City gift card and then a $25 American Express gift card. But I understand your frustration when it comes it, SurveySpot can be so generous for a few months and then some months you can barely get a survey that is over $3.

this is a great survey company… sometimes the surveys dry up a little but just when you think they’ve forgotten about you, you get more survey invitations. I have been a member for about 8 years, and it has taken that long for me to earn about $100, but every time I get that $20 check, I don’t complain! I have also had about 4 opportunities to try full size products from reputable companies.

I live this company I have been doing surveys and product testing for them for almost 10 yrs! Which reminds me I need to go on their website and use my rewards for this 6 month time period I do mine very six months.

I love mysurvey. I’ve made $40 already and have only been a member for about 8 months. I also have had several products to test which is nice. Some take a little more effort, where the length is over the course of 4 weeks, but it takes an initial set up of the data for about 15 minutes and then updates every day of about 5 minutes. I think it is one of the better survey sites. I tried Survey spot and absolutely hated it. Never got any $/point offers worth much and there were always problems with my account. Opinion outpost is nice too, but I’ve only qualified for a couple of surveys worh $6.50 total.

I’ve been using MySurvey for years now and they are awesome!

Thanks for this site. I signed up for Survey spot a while back when you mentioned it and don’t like it . I have not received anything for participating in surveys execept to be entered into some drawing. I would not recommend that site.

I’ve been a member since 2001! I can’t begin to tell you the full size retail products, food products and make up I’ve gotten over the years. Some surveys are detailed, but worth the extra points they give.
I’ve turned in my points every Christmas to give magazine subscriptions to my kids and friends, not to mention over $200 in checks.
You’re gonna love it.

I’ll look into this. I got back into doing surveys recently, mainly because of the posts. I signed up for Pinecone again, and also Survey Spot and Opinion Outpost. I didn’t like SurveySpot /at all/. They sent enormous amounts of surveys, and only a very few of them offered points. Of the ones that DID offer points, I would be pretty far into the survey before I’d find out that I didn’t qualify. After a month I earned 100 points on a survey. At that point I quit–it wasn’t worth the time.
Opinion Outpost I think better of. I’ve only qualified for a handful of surveys, BUT I did win the “instant win” deal on what I call the “consolation prize” page. I went ahead and cashed it in, and had my $50 check within a week (despite the information that said it would take 8-10 weeks to recieve the money)!! Not bad!
Pinecone is my favorite still. They may only be $3 per survey, but it’s $3 you know you’ll get when you start the survey. They are consistent and steady.
I’m looking forward to trying out MySurvey. 🙂

I have been a member for several years and am very happy with it. Lots of surveys offered and all earn points – no qualifying. Though there will be surveys that will seem you fit what they are looking for and offer you even more points for more minutes of your time. Usually 15 – 30 min. for an additional 750 points for example. Also products to test from time to time in exchange for your opinion.
Whitney says
I signed up for Opinion Outpost after you blogged about survey sites and love it! I’ve made $10 directly through the site, plus qualified for and participated in an online discussion group that paid $150! Oh, and I also qualified for a shampoo product testing – I’m supposed to be receiving two bottles this week! Maybe I’ve just been lucky but I’ve made more from this one site in the past few weeks than I made through all other survey sites combined for the entire year.
Noelle says
I tried signing up for a few of the survey companies previously posted and almost immediately stopped participating. I was spending too much time to be “unqualified” after 15 minutes of a survey.
I have been doing My Survey for awhile and also love that you get 5 points for the screening and then if you are offered the “real” survey, you are rewarded accordingly.

Be careful if you’re a military family, they will not allow you on their panel if they find out. I got kicked off when they found out I am in a military household.

I love mysurvey.com. I’ve earned easily $30 so far this year. Checks come promptly when requested. http://www.i-say.com is another survey company I like. You earn points to redeem in cash (100 points equals $10), AND you earn Mypoints for each survey too; even if you don’t qualify for the survey, you earn 1 or 2 points towards the cash rewards in addition to 1 point for Mypoints. Clear as mud, right? 🙂
Lisa says
thanks! I tried Opinion Outpost for a few weeks now. I have not qualified for one survery!! So I give up. I don’t like that one… I was several minutes into most of the survery’s (at least 10-12 questions) when I found out I did not qualify. That doesn’t seem right. I love Pinecone!

i’ve been doing mysurvey for many years, beginning when they did everything by paper, sending surveys in the mail. my mom was a member when i was in elementary school, 40 years ago. i love the company and i love the extra money i can earn through them. over the past three years, i’ve probably made close to $100. every little bit helps.

I just joined and already have 75 points! My s-i-l has been doing this and really likes it.

Do these surveys take up a lot of time? I recently went back to work after 18 months of staying home with my kids. I’d love to do something like this but wonder if I could really take the time to do the surveys now that I am working outside the home again.
Julie says
I have been a member for quite a few years. When you accumulate 1000 points, you can request a $10 check. They send quite a few surveys, ranging anywhere from 5 to 500 points, depending on the amount of time they take. If it is a very long survey, roughly 40 minutes, they will usually award 300 to 400 points. I have received over $200 in checks since I have been doing this, and I highly recommend it! Crystal is right, they ALWAYS give you the points they promised, whether you qualify or not. If a survey is short, they will offer you 5-10 points. Then many times during the survey they tell you that you qualified for a longer survey and it will take ___ amount of minutes and they will offer you ___ amount of points. You have a choice to go on, or just to take the 5-10 points and stop.
Cherilyn says
I’ve been with mysurvey for almost a year now and make an average of $10 per month. This last month I did a 20 minute survey that made my 2000 points! Enough for a $20 cashout.

I’ll have to try this. A lot of the ones I’ve tried so far (that I’ve read about here) haven’t been too swell for me – I always get disqualified at some point. (Discouraging!) And SurveySpot always wants me to take surveys for free (offering only some stupid fake sweepstakes that apparently has no end or winner).
Thanks for investigating this for us!

Just so people don’t get their hopes up too high….I’ve been a member of MySurvey for almost a year, and I’ve responded to nearly every one of the surveys I’ve received. So far I’ve earned only 620 points. And I’ve never received any products to test. I know the number of surveys depends on your profile information such as age, where you live, etc., so different people get different results.
Sariah says
I’m another who loves all the free stuff they give me to try – I currently have four different things in my house right now that MySurvey has sent me to test! I like their program a lot, even if I don’t earn as much money as with other survey companies, I do get a lot of fun stuff from them.

I’ve been a member for 15+ years. We save all our points and redeem them for cash at Christmastime! Every little bit helps!

I’ll second what Sandi said. MySurvey has sent me more product tests than anyone else, and they’re always nice full-size products. Plus I love getting points even when you don’t qualify for the full survey … few other places are as generous!

Crystal, Wow! You have been missing a lot of fun from MySurvey..it is one of the best ones I’ve ever done. Not only do they give you points for everything. I ‘ve received full size razors, toothpaste, and hair color to try. The redeeming is really great too…you can earn gift cards to places like CVS!!
Have fun…you are going to love it.

I have been a member for over 5 years now at my survey. I have got many items to try that were all great and on average $40.00 a year in checks. It is the only one I found worthwhile and I have stayed a member.

I’ve made $30 cash from MySurvey since I joined 15 months ago. They are the only survey company that I’ve tried, but I’m pleased! I’ve never received products to sample, but I was offered the opportunity this week and may be selected.

I am a member of My Survey. com. I like it alot.

I’ve been a member of MySurvey for many years and the thing I love the most is that they give away a bunch of products to test and when you complete the survey for the product you tested, they give you a large amount of points!
