This year, I’m doing weekly goals in 2020 instead of yearly goals. And I’m thrilled to report that it’s going so well!
While at first glance, it might seem like I didn’t accomplish that much on my goals list this past week (and I certainly didn’t accomplish as much as I have the last two weeks), I had a really productive and great week.
There was breathing room and laughter and memories made. There was a lot of forward momentum on projects. And there was a lot of time spent with Jesse, the kids, and friends.
To me, that’s what’s way more important than checking everything off my list!
One of my goals was to go through these tubs of mementos we have in the basement.
They have kind of gotten pretty disorganized over the years (and multiple moves) as we’ve just stuffed things in them.
I only made it through one tub, but it felt good to at least make some headway!
Here’s my update on last week’s goals:

How are you liking the 100 ways books? I looked at these I’m not sure they’d hold my attention. I’m very interested in your feedback.
I’m going to have the authors on the podcast next week, so be sure to tune into that!
Oh, awesome!! I sure will. Thanks!
Great job! I didn’t do everything I’d hoped to last week either, but I did get to connect with some people on different occasions that I felt was the better trade:)
Here are my goals for this next week:
1) Run 1 mile 3x, follow strength training plan
2) Read 1 book
3) Eat a salad every day (I got away from this last week!)
4) Watch a movie with family
5) Continue pantry challenge and night time lunch prep (making my mornings so much easier!)
6)Get back on a daily cleaning schedule using my printed out resources
7)Screen free afternoons for kids Tues-Fri
8)Go on a hike with my dad, who is coming for a visit
9)Limit screen time each day to designated times
10)Do 1 puzzle
11)Take one day off social media ( I did this Sunday 1/19, but may be Thursday this week.)
12)Do spanish lessons every day
You can do it! I’m cheering for you!
I love that you do weekly goals! When/How do you plan your goals for the next week? Do you have a set day you do it? How do you make it part of your routine so it happens? I struggle to keep ahead of my weekly meal plan & grocery list so I’m wondering if you have tips to keep up with writing weekly goals too!
I do it on Sunday afternoons. I usually look over my calendar and plan my week then.
