Psst! I’m giving away this stack of books on Instagram tomorrow morning. If you’re not following me there, you should be so you can enter to win!
I didn’t accomplish a whole lot off my goals list last week, but I did accomplish a lot that mattered — investing in the kids/Jesse, investing in my local community, doing respite care for a 10-year-old girl while her foster mom was out of town, launching my 4-Week Blog Coaching Program, working on my book, making family memories, and making sure to take care of my health.
So I’ll call it a win — even if it doesn’t look like it on paper. Some weeks are like that, aren’t they?

This week is another full week. We have something going on every night, we have some extra things going on during the day, and I’m headed to camp with Kaitlynn and the rest of my 8th grade girls’ group from Youth Group this weekend.
I’m also noticing that I am having to slow down and rest a lot more now that I’m entering my third trimester. My energy just isn’t what it usually is and I need more sleep and naps.
So, once again, I’m keeping my list short!

Getting back to setting goals after a couple of weeks of being tired/sick and just trying to keep up a best I had energy for.
Goals:
1. Get the house into shape (mostly this means finish the last of the unpacking and tidy up and catch up on chores after being sick)
2. Exercise 20 minutes a day at least four days this week.
3. Make time for crafting/creative stuff one afternoon this week.
4. Include prayer in my devotions time at least four days this week.
5. Make chicken stock
Those sound like great goals! Thanks for sharing!
I accomplished most of my goals last week, but not all. It was cold and rainy last week and that definitely hurt my motivation. 🤣
This week:
1) Complete week one of new workout program
2) Read one book
3) 64 oz water daily
4) Run 1 mile at least 1 time-I’m dealing/recovering with a tendon issue and it’s feeling better, but not sure how much I can put it through.
5) Deep clean kids bathroom
6-9) Deep clean each kids room
10) Use what’s in fridge before buying more, following along with the efficient kitchen challenge on Good Cheap Eats
11) Watch a movie with family
12) Fun local Free activity-we have a list and I’ll let the kids pick one
13) Ease into softball season-both girls play and practices start this week
14) Practice Spanish daily
15) Social media free days Wednesday and Sunday
16) Do one puzzle
17) Have a doodle/coloring session
This seems like a lot on paper but not in my head. Lol.
Wow! What an ambitious list! I’m cheering for you!
I managed all 5 of my goals last week.
This week’s goals:
1. More “getting ready for taxes”
2. Family game or movie night
3. Celebrate our son’s birthday (dad was out of town on actual birthday)
4. Walk 6 miles on the treadmill
5. 60 oz of water EVERY day!
Woohoo! Way to go!
WTG last week!
