We survived week one of the three older kids being back in school! It was definitely different after months of them being home, but I’m so glad they are getting to go back to in-person classes! They always spend the first part of their day with the babies. It’s so sweet to see how much they love both babies!

2. Finish reading The White Rose Resists. Read 5 chapters of Fully Alive. Finish reading You Be You. Listen to Atomic Habits.
3. Do pelvic floor exercises at least four times.
4. Do 2 days of Couch to 5K.

5. Read three chapters of A Boy’s War as a family. Read three chapters of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to the babies and Silas.
6. Go on a date with Jesse.
7. House project: Organize bathroom/medicine storage closet.

8. Finish 30% of the Appendix for my book manuscript.
9. Create a Reel for Instagram (I’m still learning/experimenting with these.)

I may have bitten off more than I can chew when it comes to books this week. I just can’t help myself!! I have shelves of books I want to read and now that I have more time to read since the babies are a little older and the kids are back in school, I just want to read all the books!

You’re fortunate your kids get to go back to school full time. We’re at the mercy of public school teachers union. High school is only offering 1/2 day instruction with half the students 2-3 days each week for the entire year. Shame. My son is entering 12th grade.
Yes! I know not every family has the option to put their kids in private schools and are at the mercy of whatever their school district chooses to do. It’s just such a hard season for so many — and I think it’d be so hard to be the head of a huge school district and trying to make wise decisions for the whole district, too.
First: Love your Not Today Satan shirt!! I’m working on getting one myself–and Walmart has them in the Men’s section.
Then I wonder if I somehow missed Champ getting a helmet. Poor guy! Is he having seizures? Both of our kids from the foster system were thought by neurologist to have seizure activity, and were tested for it.

Gratefully, it’s not for seizures… though that is something we are supposed to be watching out for!
I have to laugh at myself I am compromised in my lungs and am on oxygen 24 /7 I need to buildup my endurance For Months I have faithfully followed your weekly goals I read 5 minutes walks in my neighbourhood. Today I read 3 minute walks!! So I read that again Oh dear I go back to some of your past episodes and yes indeed it reads 5 morning walks not 5 minutes(chuckle) But i am so much better for it thank you for your honest striving every day doing what the Good Lord put’ in front of you <3
