Well, it’s back to the chocolate theme today for the Make It From Scratch Week. 🙂
I was intrigued by the Crockpot Brownies recipe and had to try it.
It was really easy to mix together.
And fun to bake in the crockpot.
The final results were a little cakier than usual brownies, but they were really yummy. I think this recipe would especially be great to bake on a hot day when you don’t want to heat up your house by baking in the oven.
Oh and I’d recommend serving it with ice cream and chocolate syrup. Yum!

I’ve always been curious. About crockpot desserts butt never tried any I might at some point. Sadly my craft I had planned for the day didn’t happen I bought modge podge which I never do but had to drive out to the county to pick up a cabinet, turn the car back on and my speedometer was broken! Scary trip home. My evening was DIY auto investigation 😛 Happy note it did get fixed sad note I miss yet another day of participation. 😛 If. I’m lucky maybe today if so then 2 days out of 5 isn’t bad right? LOL
Wow! These look absolutely delicious! I’ve been looking for great crockpot recipes and I think I’ll give this one a try!
These look really good. We have been having a heat wave here this week and the kids are wanting to bake something but I keep telling them it’s just too hot. We will have to give these a try, I’m sure they would love it.
It is the large number of eggs that make these brownies cakey. Cut the number of eggs and you will change the consistency. We like very moist brownies so we never add more than one egg.
Thanks so much for mentioning that!
Definitely going to have to try those.
Hey, chocolate if a favorite here and I had heard of these crock pot brownies. I will have to let the kids check that out sometime.
These Crockpot Brownies look so good! I have two crockpots and I can just see making a main dish then these for dessert. Yum!
Hi Crystal! Did you cook these on low or high? I clicked over to the original recipe and she did not specify which heat setting. Also, did you use foil versus parchment paper? Thanks!
I guessed and did “high”. And yes, I used foil — because I didn’t have any parchment paper. 🙂
I was going to suggest that adding some melted chocolate might help with the cakiness, but then I clicked over to see that the recipe already used it. Phooey.
Regardless, I love the idea, and hope to try it one of these days when my husband ends his grain-free diet/fast. 🙂
