I recommend reading all the 1 and 2 star reviews before buying furniture on Amazon and specifically look at the dates. If the most recent ones are negative – watch out!
We bought an Amazon couch with so many good reviews. However, when we received ours and found several problems with it, we looked deeper and found that the bad reviews were more recent and reflected our experience.
My theory is that these companies selling cheap furniture on Amazon, somehow get a large amount of 5 star reviews (through free products or discounts etc) then lower the price or have a big “sale” and then make it impossible to repack the boxes to return the furniture.
Just something to be aware of 😅
