This is so helpful. Thank you! I’ve been blogging for awhile but I recently started a new blog and I am trying to be more intentional with it….treat it like a business. I am definitely soaking up all of this information. Thank you for being so generous with your knowledge!
Erin@The Humbled Homemaker says
Oh I can’t wait to listen! I love listening to business podcasts, and I hadn’t heard of this one yet! Thanks for sharing!
Crystal Paine says
I think you’d really enjoy Brilliant Business Moms… and they TOTALLY need to interview you!
Erin@The Humbled Homemaker says
I can’t believe I’m just now hearing about them! I must have missed when you mentioned them before! I am getting ready to subscribe, and I’ve already skimmed their (very thorough!) show notes! Love all the tips you shared!
And LOL about interviewing me!! I’m not so sure about that one…I’m still treading water! 😉 LOL!
Crystal Paine says
Girl, I learned so much from you this weekend! I especially was so inspired with how you are so thorough in whom you choose to hire and how you make sure the position you put them in plays to their strengths and personalities.
Erin@The Humbled Homemaker says
You are so sweet. It was a true blessing to hang out with YOU! I think we found a whole group of kindred spirits!!
Melissa Kaiserman {A Time for Everything} says
Oh, man. I would love to hang out with you two. 🙂
And I agree that Erin should be interviewed!
Erin@The Humbled Homemaker says
You are so sweet, Melissa. It was a blast to hang out with Crystal! We laughed so hard! I subscribed to your podcast…absolutely cannot wait to catch up on the episodes. I have a feeling it’s going to become a favorite!
Melissa Kaiserman {A Time for Everything} says
I think it WILL become a favorite, but while I’d love to take credit, it’s not my podcast. I was a guest, but all the credit goes to sisters Sarah & Beth Anne! 🙂
Jennifer says
Thank you for sharing so much valuable information in that podcast. I really appreciate your knowledge and generosity. 🙂
Beth Anne says
Thanks again for a wonderful interview, Crystal, and for sharing it here! I can’t wait to see how each of us takes action on your advice and the results we’ll see.
Most of all, I hope we all focus on building community the way you do.
Sarah and I have been so blessed by our little community of Brilliant Business Moms and by the community you’ve created here! Keep up the great work, Crystal!

I wish I could quadruple like your comment! Wow, thank you for those kind words. Glad you liked the show notes.
When we’re having a down day, we’ll remember – Crystal Paine said to keep up the good work 😉
Melissa Kaiserman {A Time for Everything} says
I think their show notes are some of the best out of all the podcasts I listen to!
Crystal Paine says
I agree!

I run 4 public Facebook pages with about 400,000 readers total. I also run 12 Facebook groups with about 20,000 members total. Some days I don’t even log on because I need time away.
I have 2 other admins who help me, but I’m still able to get a handle on things. I’ve been asked by my readers when am I going to write a book. TO be honest, I don’t feel ready. I just like running and organizing my ministry at the moment. Thank you for the all tips!
Crystal Paine says
You’re so welcome!
Melissa Kaiserman says
I listened while I exercised this morning and loved it. Thank you so much for generously sharing your strategies.
I have read some speculation that with the new Smart Feed, Pinterest is downgrading group boards (or at least the over-pinning that can be associated with them). I’m interested to hear if you see any evidence of that over the next weeks and months.
Crystal Paine says
Thanks so much for you kind encouragement! I am curious to see how the Smart Feed plays out. So far, it’s only seemed to have the affect of showing me more relevant pins in my feed and showing my pins more often to others (thus, increasing my Pinterest traffic a little). I’m waiting to see how it impacts things long-term.

I really needed that post. Thank you! I am currently raising two children under two. I stay home with them during the day while working on two websites. One is personal and the other is for my church. I keep the social media for the church up to date as well. I’ve also been asked to build a site for a landscaping company and this is the first week that I have began to fill maxed out, despite waking up earlier and going to bed later.
You never cease to stop encouraging me.
Crystal Paine says
Thank you so much for your kind encouragement! I’m grateful that this podcast was helpful for you!
