Thanks so much for your recommendation! I just subscribed to Kindle Unlimited, and look forward to reading Chasing Excellence. I was also happy to find some other promising titles, like “The Disciple-Making Parent: A Comprehensive Guidebook…..”, “Grace Based Discipline”, and some books by S.D. Smith (popular children’s fantasy author)

YAY! And thank you so much for recommending those other titles you saw on Kindle Unlimited!

Chasing Excellence would not have been a book I’d choose had I not seen your recommendation – I’m about halfway through, and keep asking myself, how do I apply this to home life? In particular, homeschooling and managing the home, and my other roles. The part about visualizing success and adversity had me thinking, I really could try to visualize a full day of “ideal” scenarios, and how I’d respond when the unexpected occurs, which is every day! I hope you’ll do a follow up post some time this year and share how you’re using this book in daily life 🙂 thank you!

Those were the same questions I asked myself and that’s why I took a few months to mull over it to think how I would apply it to my life. Did you see my post on my word for the year? That’s my starting point! And the checklist I created has been AMAZINGLY helpful so far!

This sounds like a great book I am going to order it!!

I just finished Beneath a Scarlet Sky. It was hard to get into at first, but once I hit about the 1/4 mark, I couldn’t put it down! It’s so good!
Crystal Paine says
Thanks so much! I’m excited to read it!

My comment should have said “e-books”. Autocorrect corrected my word.

Is Kindle Unlimited just firms-books or would I actually get a book in the mail?
Crystal Paine says
They are just ebooks. You can read them on any device that you can download an app to — your phone, your computer, an iPad, etc.
