Great find on the salad! I think the containers stay fresher longer than the bags after opening.
I also did a big Mega Event stock up trip, but didn’t plan ahead. Two weeks ago, I stocked up on meat. Last week, I stocked up on veggies. I decided to shop out of next week’s budget and just try to balance things out by the end of the month. I spent half of my budget on dog food, cat food, milk, and OTC meds. I bought a few other items and the Mega Event soup, cake mix, BBQ sauce, and hot cocoa. My six year-old son made me laugh as I winced at checkout and said, “there goes next week’s budget.” He told me, “Don’t worry, Mom. We have so much food at home that you won’t need to go shopping at all next week.” I certainly won’t need much.
I’m not seeing the Kroger peanut butter coupon. That’s my favorite brand. How was it worded?
Kim, it was in the Best-Customer Bonus coupon category and I think those are different for each person. It’s worth checking into though. They often will give me coupons for items I buy frequently. I hope that helps!
