No Advil coupons in my P&G insert or my RP from 8/25. Do these vary by region?
K.S says
They must, cause I didn’t get those coupons either 🙁

I would love to see Gretchen do a post on how she comes up with these deals whether it be Target, Walgreens etc. I get frustrated as I sometimes want to duplicate the deal and I go so far as to print out the coupons but then I get to the store and my prices are different, they don’t have the product on the shelf ect. How does she come up with the deals she wants to get and what is the best day she goes to the store. Thanks.

I would love to see a post of how she goes about getting those deals too!

I have a few blogs that I follow faithfully that specialize in these specific stores. For instance, for the Target deals I always check TotallyTarget.com, AllThingsTarget.com and MyFrugalAdventures.com for the best deals before I head to the store. I have a list of what deals I want to check out when I get there.
It never fails that I find some of the deals aren’t “deals” at my store because the prices are way higher. This week I had on my list to check out the Windex Touch Up cleaner (because it was supposedly almost free at other stores) but my store had it priced way higher so I didn’t get it.
Also, a lot of times, when it is a good deal, I will find the shelf cleared. This week I wanted to get the bodywash deal, but I needed to buy 4 in order to get the gift card and there were only 3 left on the shelf so I couldn’t do the deal.
Sometimes, I will find deals that weren’t advertised on any blog (like the GoGo Squeeze pictured above). I just keep my eyes open for sales while I’m shopping, check the clearance shelves and always bring all my coupons with me.
This is pretty much how I shop at every store (Target, CVS, Walgreens, Dillons, etc). Since I only do my shopping (grocery and drugstores) ONCE a week, I make sure to know what I’m looking for when I go and I only go to a store if there are multiple deals I am interested in getting there. We live too far away from all the stores to pop in every time I hear of a good deal.
I hope that helps! 🙂

I’m impressed that someone could come out of Target with so little. lol

Not seeing any $1 coupon for Advil in the 9/1 P&G. Pretty sure Advil is not a P&G product.

It’s a pfizer product and it’s in the RP 8/25. Saw somewhere you can buy 4 of the products, use 4 $1 coupons and get back 2 gift cards plus submit for Pfizer rebate of $6 from purchasing 3 qualifying items. Not sure if it would work but worth a try.
