I’m impressed! Extreme couponing remains a bit of a mystery to me, but I definitely try to make use of a few coupons every time I go to the store and feel that it is well worth it.

I just got back from Harris Teeter…love their Super Doubles events. I seemed to have missed all the cereal deals though!
Some of the deals that I bought were a Tide laundry detergent for $.99, 2 boxes of Pop Secret popcorn for free, and a bag of Starbucks coffee for $3.99. Makes my couponing heart happy 🙂

The $2 coupon was doubled to $4. Harris Teeter is doubling coupons up to $2 in value every day this week 🙂

Wow, they did great! You might want to clarify for your readers that the Double Coupon Event at Harris Teeter this week is “Super Doubles” which means all coupons up to $2 will double. Their normal coupon policy is that only coupons up to 99 cents in value will double. I’m surprised that their Harris Teeter gives overage. Mine here in North Carolina does not.
Diotto here in SC and NC (Charlotte area)- they never give overages. We are not on rotation for super doubles here in the CLT area. I have several HT’s that I visit and they do super doubles once every 45 days or so and then they throw in Triple Coupons too. Also, on Wednesdays to drum up business they do Super Doubles.

Sometimes I can get overage on a product at HT if there is a ZVR coupon for that item that makes it better than free. If not, the computer will automatically adjust the coupon to make the item free with no overage.
