Are you using the 1 lb of hamburger for burgers, tacos and soup?
Gretchen says
I’m using the pound of ground beef for burgers. For the rest of the meals requiring ground beef I will use ground venison from our freezer. My brother in law gave us a whole bunch of deer meat a couple of weeks ago that will last us for quite a while. I hope that helps! – Gretchen, MSM Team

Love this idea — but with 5 in my house and 3 of them grown athletes… this is a pipe dream. WAAAAHHH!!! wow I miss the says of a realistic grocery bill. We order three large pizzas when we have pizza. When I make eggs for breakfast it’s 16-18 per DAY. No one will eat just soup for a meal because it wouldn’t fill them up. If I were doing baked potatoes, I’d need to add some bbq chicken or chopped beef for it to be a meal for them. OOOOOH consider yourself lucky!! 🙂

Wow! I see this as my future since I have three boys. I can’t imagine how much food we will go through with three teenage BOYS in the house. Haha! – Gretchen, MSM Team
