When I worked retail some years ago, then at least, if the sign was posted, the store HAS to honor it. And if they give you a fit about that, you CAN say it is then “bait and switch”, which are very fearful words to a person working retail. Usually if you ask to speak to a manager, all is taken care of for you. Sometimes an individual clerk may not have the ability to do that, but manager will.

Thanks for letting me know that. I will keep that in mind.

I haven’t tried the cuties, but love the Tofutti brand. They make the best dairy free ice cream.
Peg says
Gretchen, my store charges full price for the 1st item and the 2nd item’s price is zero. If you can get back to the store before the sales cycle ends, show customer service your receipt and ask if you can have the second item.
Gretchen says
Dillons actually just charges 50% off when it’s B1G1 free.
Stormy says
When sale signs are still up from the previous week, point that out to the cashier. The times it has happened to me, they honored the posted sign, even if the deal was expired. Can’t hurt to try!
Gretchen says
Thanks for the tip! I’ll have to remember that.
