Looking to save money without actually shopping in-store? With several littles (including a baby) in tow, I can’t usually shop the drugstore deals in-store, but have come to love doing pickup orders. This week, they had lots of really amazing deals! I always place my order online using my Walgreens app and within 10 minutes it is ready for pickup at my closest store. The best part? I don’t even have to get out of my car as they bring it out to me!
Most of these items and coupons are still available through Saturday so you can replicate this same pickup order.
Here’s what I bought:
2 Colgate Toothpaste – $2.99 each
Used $2/1 e-coupon
Received $4 Walgreens Cash for buying 2
2 Garnier Fructis Hair Products – $3.79 and $3.29
Used $3/2 e-coupon
Received $4 Walgreens Cash for buying 2
1 (2 pack) Clear Care Contact Solution – $16.99
Used $6/1 e-coupon
And used $4/1 Walgreens e-coupon
2 boxes Nature Valley Granola Bars – $2.99 each
On Sale Buy One, Get One Free
Used $0.50/2 e-coupon

Total before coupons and cash back: $36.03

Thanks for sharing! I am new to saving at Walgreens and am having a nightmare using the app (keeps dropping my coupons at checkout). Any suggestions?

Hmmm…maybe try updating your app? Or you can try using a desktop computer and placing an order online that way. I’m sorry! – Gretchen, MSM Team

Hello, how did you get $15 in Walgreen’s cash?I ordered the same things and only got $8.Also, is there a reason the Garnier Fructis items had to be $3.29 and $3.79?
Gretchen says
As I noted at the bottom of the post, I received a coupon via email that was valid for $7 Walgreens cash when you spend $30+ (before coupons). If you are a rewards member, you will receive emails/exclusive coupons like this pretty often. But you have to be sure and clip them to get the cash rewards.
And I bought one Garnier Fructis item that was more expensive ($3.79) as we regularly use that item and were almost out of it. But you could easily just purchase two items @ $3.29 each. I hope that that helps! – Gretchen, MSM Team
