I still cook daily for 8-10 people depending on who is home.
My favorite deal is day old bread from the local jimmy johns. It’s only 48Cents a loaf and freezes well. I almost always buy them out when I go
and the kids love it !!
I didn’t know you could get day old bread from Jimmy John’s! What a great idea! – Gretchehn, MSM Team
Our Aldi has been out of turkey for quite awhile too. The Walmart Great Value brand seems just like Hillshire Farm to me. It is $6.72. But that’s still expensive!
Ooohhh! That’s good to know. I’m going to check my local Walmart and see what the price is. THANK YOU for that tip! – Gretchen, MSM Team
Have you looked up how to make your own lunch meat? Or thought about chicken salad or egg salad sandwiches?
No, I haven’t! What a great idea. – Gretchen, MSM Team
Won’t help at the moment, but there should be sale turkey in a month for salad too!
