Where do you find the essential oils that you use for the bath salts gifts in a jar? I have never purchased the oils before but the bath salts gifts in a jar look like awesome gift ideas for Christmas.

Also…Kiwi magazine (which I got free from buying an Annies product!) has great recipes for homemade soap! Thats what we’ve decided to give as gifts to save money…

    For Tonya…

The essential oils can be found in the beauty product aisle at Whole Foods. They are usually all the way at the end of the aisle in a small display with 100’s of tiny bottles. They go on sale quite often! I paid $3.99 for the Lemon bottle a couple weeks ago which I didn’t think was too bad…

I was just thinking of making homemade gifts for coworkers and was trying to think of what to make. These are some great ideas–I’ll have to see what correlates with a sale.

One of the ideas on the link was vanilla sugar. I’ve purchased vanilla beans from a mission group in the past. I can’t remember exactly where the beans are grown but the mission group sells the beans that are too small for the commercial buyers. They use the money to help support the locals. The man here in the states that sells beans is David Silvestre, his email is . He can answer any of your questions.

I’ll have to take a look at some of these. I’ve been racking my brains to figure out what to give to our coworkers this year. I hate giving out cookies because everybody gives/ receives cookies – plus it’s flu season, which is exacerbated by the amounts of sugar in everything!
