I was honored to be interviewed by iBlog Magazine recently about blogging, online marketing, and what I’ve learned from this crazy and wild adventure I’ve been on as a blogger for the past almost 10 years.
In this interview, I share a behind-the-scenes look at some of my blogging processes, how I’ve grown my team (and some key advice for those of you who are thinking of hiring a virtual assistant), my Pinterest strategy and how much time I invest in it on a daily basis, the platform I’m currently experiencing with, plus a number of lessons I’ve learned the hard way as a blogger.
If you are a blogger, an online entrepreneur, or just want to know more about the behind-the-scenes of MoneySavingMom.com, I think you’ll enjoy watching this interview. Head over here to view it.

Loved the interview. I started blogging in January and just had a baby last month. This was just what I needed to get refocused on blogging!

Great interview, Crystal!
This ever-changing blogging world can be overwhelming and I love that you shared to learn one thing before moving onto the next thing. Thanks for the encouragement and inspiration!

My favorite takeaway was your tip about publishing a blog post *first*, then seeing how it performs before taking the time to create an attractive Pin-worthy graphic. I’m going to start doing this too. Creating graphics stresses me out and sometimes blocks me from writing, so if I feel free to just go ahead and write and then analyze the popularity of the post afterwards, that would be so helpful! Thanks for sharing that.

I so agree with this! When she said that it was a lightbulb moment for me too!

I’m so grateful that was helpful!

I watched this video tonight and just want you to know that I have been a long time reader…like back in 2007. I really give a lot of weight and value to what I read on your blog. I just started my own blog this year and this video was very helpful. I didn’t know you had an ebook for bloggers, so I will be definitely looking it up. Thank you, Crystal, for all you do!

Thank you so much for being such a long-time reader — and congrats on starting your own blog!

I really like the earrings + necklace you’re wearing in this video!

Thanks so much — they are one of my staple interview/speaking jewelry sets. Jesse bought them for me months ago (at Kohl’s, I think?) and I love them!
