Looking for a fun sensory activity to do with your toddler? Jenae from I Can Teach My Child shows you how to make a Fruits of the Spirit Apple Garland.
By the way, if you have young children, be sure to spend some time checking out I Can Teach My Child. Jenae has tons of incredible and inspiring ideas!
I did this with my boys yesterday and I taught them the fruit of the Spirit song I learned as a kid. Made for a great memory for me and a fun day for the boys! Thanks!
Thank you for sharing this post! We are learning the letter ‘A’ next week for kindergarten and this will be a great supplemental activity to our work! This is also great for my 2 year old to participate in as well!
Does anyone have any other ideas for fall themed (pumpkins, leaves, etc..)sunday school activites?? Our church Homecoming is coming up and I wanted to have our kids make some things for decoration. Any ideas??? I”d appreciate any!!
@Amanda, Amanda, a good activity for little ones – get pictures of pumpkins (big, plain ones, like you’d find in a toddler coloring book), and let your kids rip up an orange piece of construction paper. Then glue the bits of paper onto the pumpkin. Kids enjoy ripping and gluing, and it looks fun. You can do this with black paper and spiders, or fall colors and leaves …
Crystal, I sincerely appreciate you sharing this post of mine on your site. You are an inspiration to so many…especially me!
