I’m excited about this free ebook! Last year, I downloaded the Summer Reading Guide for Families and got a lot of great new-to-us read aloud suggestions and chapter books for the girls to read.
The FREE Summer Reading Guide for Families is back this year and it’s been updated! Go download your free copy here.
We’re printing ours out to take to the library and check out some new-to-us books for summer reading!
I would love to find a list like this for middle school and high school students who read at a much higher level (5th, 7th, and 10th graders – – the youngest reads way above her grade level.) My kids read so much, especially in the summer, that it’s hard to keep them in good books!
Any suggestions?
I would love to hear about higher level reading as well. I worry about content. Dont want the kids growing too fast regarding subject matter. Any help is appreciated. We are a Christian family and I want the books to honor God.
LOVE the Wizard of Oz- starting that series has been amazing! My children cannot wait for more. Get ready for another nothing-like-the-movie book! 🙂 By the way, there are actually 14 books in this series!
Thank you for sharing! What a great resource! We are looking forward to some new reads for the summer and for our 8 hour road trip… yikes!
