This great checklist is applicable to open houses too. I would add a few more safety tips:
1. hide or remove any valuables (money, jewelry, high dollar items)
2. hide all medications
3. lock up any personal info (credit card #, ss#, paycheck stub)
4. remove all family photos
5. check that all windows and doors are locked after anyone has visited
We just got an offer on our house after having it listed for just 7 weeks, simply due to de-cluttering!! I hope these pictures are the ‘before’ pictures. I cleared almost everything out of our house, with just basic furniture and wall decorations left. Simplicity is key. Make sure you also remove everything from the front of the refrigerator!
