Be careful that what ever item you use doesn’t have lead paint or other dangerous chemicals that can over time leach in to the soil and toxify your edible plants.

Any ideas for repurposing an old gas grill? I put it on freecycle with no takers but I’m thinking it has some use left for something that I am just not seeing yet.
I love the filing cabilet idea!

We got two filing cabinets for free from Craigslist with this purpose in mind. We ended up deciding to put them out on the curb for someone else. It was a much bigger project than I wanted to take on right now. I’m just recovering from a very badly broken leg. Otherwise, I would have been all over it.

That is a great idea! My husband is going to want to do that to my file cabinet! I’ll have to keep an eye out at garage sales for one. We used old wine crates for planters. They add a great conversation piece to our patio.
