This last weekend I found out I didn’t get into nursing school… which I thought was my vocation. I’m not sure what caused you to post this, but it had meaning to me. Thanks for the reminder that this too has a purpose.

ABSOLUTELY! “Failure” is your friend (and booster!) if YOU let it be. Taking any type of “failure” and using it in a positive way allows one to grow and mature versus dwelling on the failures, which is very unhealthy and can consume the life out of you. Mourn over a failure for 5 seconds then get up and move on…take the bull by the horns! 🙂

I learn more from my failures than I do from my successes. Never be afraid to fail, it gives you an opportunity to do it again!

Thank you for that. I went to Walmart with my binder, ready for war. The store was messy, stock was missing or wrong quantity. I felt like I had failed! I know now today will be better, Now on with day two!
What a perfect quote. I’m a musician. I understand failure. Or at least a career that doesn’t turn out quite the way you thought it would.
