Want to spruce up your front door on a dime? Thrifty Decor Chick walks you step-by-step how to make a Dollar Store Fall Wreath. It looks so simple I’m maybe even a total craft class flunkie like me could pull this off!

You could do something similar with silk holly leaves for the winter.
I love it as well! I have used many of Sarah’s ideas in my home and plan to have my childcare kids do this one next month. We’re going to add real acorns from the yard to it, I think.
The best thing about home decor is that you can make it your own (and on a dime). One person’s ideas and style may not suit another’s but I think we can all have a general respect for all other designers and their ideas, even if we don’t agree with them.

Thanks so much for the mention!! 🙂
I never decorate for fall, but I might have to try this! I think the grapevine wreath is a great idea too.
I love it!!! I’m going to try it this weekend! And thanks for introducing me to her site, it is great!
Crystal, you can do it! It is easier if you use a grapevine wreath(so you don’t have to cut the foam board) and just start hot glueing those leaves on until you fill it up. With the wreath laying on a flat surface you work from the lowest area and go up. I did one like that about 10 years ago and I am still using it and it still looks great.
Love it!
I agree debbie, I am not a fan of this one either…
I had already seen this on her site and did it! I did it for $6 and it turned out well. My toddler had a great time “helping” too!
I love Thrifty Decor Chic!!! Her home is gorgeous!!
To be honest, though, I’m not crazy about this wreath. It would be easy to make.
