I made them today! they are soo yum! and look lovely!
I will be putting them in glass christmas cup with candy cane and wraping them up all pretty as give-aways for a christmas party!
thanks!!
I just did these with my toddler today. She had fun, made a total mess, and it’ll be a festive addition to our holiday dinner party tomorrow! Thanks!
Yummy! I did these with my best friend and our kids a while back. We dipped them in coconut and sprinkles. I don’t recommend the little balls (nonpareil) because they make them really hard!
I actually did something similar to this with the Home-made Marshmallow recipe that was posted here a week or two ago – I did vanilla marshmallows, dipped in chocolate, then dipped in finely-crushed candy cane. Yum! I like the idea of the pretzel for the stick.
I have made these before and used pretzels for the stick and that way they are safe for kids and the can eat all of it.
Perfect timing. I have 2 holiday parties this week. Tomorrow we are doing a candy swap (we have match our partner’s personality with candy) and then a Yankee Swap (limit of $10) I’m doing a lot of homemade gifts and some items from my stock pile. Will send picture when I am finished.
Perfect timing! Thurs Dec 16th is National Chocolate Covered Anything Day! We are celebrating at work…I know what I’m taking! 🙂
we made some and called them reindeer poop 😉
Does anyone know how long they last wrapped up in the cellophane?
For the last couple years I have been dipping marshmallows in chocolate & then in graham cracker crumbs & they taste like s’mores. They are the biggest request I have. I fully dip mine & then seal them and they will last longer.
I made some of these as cocoa stirrers. We used one and then just ate the rest. lol. I made a couple more dozen today without the sticks. Now I know the children will come visit. 🙂
These sound great, and easy. I am not talented in the kitchen, but I think even I can handle this. Guess what the boys’ teachers are getting for Christmas????
Thanks!
I do these a lot for holidays. You can use strawberry marshmallows and dip in white chocolate or use the new chocolate swirl or caramel swirl marshmallows. They make an easy and very inexpensive gift.
these look amazing. better pull out the fat pants!
